Academy Baseball is AMAZING!

My family has known Coach Treb "Robbie" for many, many years. The way he runs Academy Baseball is like no other! The way he and the other coaches interact with the kids and the way they demonstrate the skills and techniques of baseball are nothing short of amazing! Coach Treb and the other coaches are extremely patient and encouraging to all kids playing ball regardless of their experience.

Our son, Grant loves the game of baseball and loves the coaching he receives -- Grant cannot wait to get there on the day they are scheduled to practice and play. At the end of the season the kids leave the field confident in their abilities to play baseball.

Our family's experience with Coach Treb and the other coaches is one we are happy to share with others. We look forward to watching our son continue to grow both in his baseball skills and in their appreciation and love for the game.

Play Ball!

Both my boys have attended the Academy Sports summer baseball camps the past two years along with a number of players I coach. All the boys had a great time and enthusiastically want to come back again this summer. The camps are well organized and fast paced keeping the kids engaged and having fun. What I am most impressed with is how Robbie Trebelhorn structures the camps around traditional values:

What I am most impressed with is how Robbie Trebelhorn structures the camps around traditional values:

  • Respect your teammates
  • Respect your coaches
  • Respect your opponents
  • Respect the game

These values have an impact right away. By lunch break on day one you can see the bonds between the kids and coaches developing. By the end of the week the boys are a wolf pack. My boys have made life long friends at these camps. I would recommend any of the programs offered by Academy Sports.

Having been a coach with high school baseball for many years, I have recognized a need to not only raise fundamental athletes but to raise happy, healthy, active players who are focused and eager to learn. In b aseball, it is easy to get lost in the boredem and standing around for new players. Academy has attacked this delima by bringing fun and action to every practice and game. Kids are in constant motion and learning simulateously. Robbie and his staff have provided a happy, healthy, and active enviroment for all the players.

It's fun to see the kids beam with joy and eagerness to learn. Academy is focused on EVERY player and bringing encouragment to each of them. I highly recommend!

Academy baseball is great! My son Joey has been in the program for the last four seasons. It's been fun watching him grow into a baseball player. Treb does a great job introducing the kids to the game and keeping their interest. The games are fast paced with small team numbers, so the kids get lots of at bats and everyone has fun. I definitely recommend this program for any child who wants to have fun while learning how to play ball.

I really thought Academy Baseball was fabulous Sunday.

  • I thought the way it was organized was impressive.  I'm talking about the numbers on the field, and the way you had lots of balls to pitch so that you didn't have to wait for the catcher to get the ball back to the pitcher.
  • I liked the way that the kids get to rotate and try out different fielding positions.
  • It was smart to have the kids put down their gloves and hats in a designated place.
  • Many other aspects of it struck me as smart and well thought out.

[My son] has never played organized baseball before, so I'm so glad that he is able to participate in such a positive learning environment. I was traumatized by my one year of organized baseball and of course I don't want that for my son.
